Tbilisi City Assembly representatives and City Mayor Mr. Gigi Ugulava have joint theatrical walking started from Vardebi Square. Tbilisi City Assembly Chairman Mr. Zaal Samadashvili and the deputies wished Merry Christmas to clergy, parish and children pacing in carol and handed them sweeties and fruits.
"It's the first time I participate in Christmas carol as a Chairman of Tbilisi City Assembly, but since the tradition has been reestablished I take part in it annually. Christmas is like a repetition of a religious mystery for believers that is connected to spiritual ablution. I'd like to wish firmness, courage and unity to every citizen of Tbilisi. It's necessary to realize that we form the state, each citizen of Georgia"-declared Mr. Samadashvili.
The participants of Christmas carol ended walking at Sameba Cathedral Patriarchate. The collected presents were delivered to under age colonies and children's home.
