Tbilisi City Assembly Mission

Tbilisi City Assembly is a representative body of the capital's local authority system. The City Assembly is composed of 25 members in all electoral districts by the majority vote and 12 members in Tbilisi by proportional electoral system.

Tbilisi City Assembly implements self-governance in Tbilisi and takes control over the city government within the limits of a corresponding act. It also fulfills his full powers determined by Georgian Constitution, legislative acts and the City Assembly regulation. Tbilisi City Assembly competence is valid for 4 years.
