Deputy Mayor of Tbilisi Acknowledged the Deputies of the City Assembly with a New Project

Mr. Giorgi Tskhakaia, Deputy Mayor of Tbilisi submitted a new project to the City Assembly session today; The project concerned arrangement of the funeral issues.

"The issues of burial were connected with some specific problems; Tbilisi City Hall has elaborated a new project which is absolutely transparent and exclude any sign of corruption; free areas in the cemeteries are now registered and indicated in the interactive map; it will be available for any citizen: relatives of the diseased will not have to go to different instances as the new project makes the system integrated with the Civil Register, 033, forensic bureau and the socially vulnerable database " - Mr. Tskhakaia declared;

According to the Deputy Mayor soon a new site www.hermes.ge will be activated; by this site the relatives and friends will be able to order any and all types of service through internet - from their homes.

"Inactivation of a new e-system was stipulated by some specific conditions: those worrying about their diseased relatives always had the feeling that the good and appropriate spaces at the cemetery were concealed or they paid sum for such acceptable space to a director; now all places are indicated in the map and those relatives and friends will be able to make their choice according to the place and price" - Mr. Tskhakaia added.
