The streets without names in the village of Dighomi were named after the characters of the ''Knight in the phanter's skin''

At Tbilisi City Assembly the meeting has been held today and the deputies have discussed the issue of the names of several streets without names in the capital city.

Denomination and symbols commission Chairman, Lasha Imedashvili has submitted 6 issues. As the result of consent by the Assembly members, in the Vake-Saburtalo District, the streets without names in the village of Dighomi have been named after the characters of the''Knight in the phanter's skin'' . 48th street will be named after Muradin-Fridon str, 52th street - Meliq-Surkhavi str, 53th street - Mulgazanzari Str, 54th Street - Gulansharo Str, 55th Street - Fatmani Str, 56th Street - Rostevani Str, 58th Street - Useni Str, 59th Street - Asmati Str, 60th Street - Tinatini Str, 68th Street - Davari Str, 73th Street - Shermadini Str, 74th Street - Nestan-Darejani Str, 78th Street - Avtandili Str, 79th Street - Tarieli Str, 87th Street - Khataeti Str, 94th Str - Vepkhistkaosani Str, 95th Street - Chashnagiri Str, 98th Street - Farsadani Str, 106th Street - Ramazi Str.

Today the Assembly deputy members have discussed the matter of renaming of Kakutsa Cholokashvili Ave. in the continuance of Ilia Chavchavadze Ave. in the Region of Vake-Saburtalo. In Vake-Saburtalo District, in the village of Dighomi, at the adjoining territory of the so-called "Toyota Center" the street without name will be named after Ilia Sheklashvili, the hero died in the military action between Georgia and Russia in 2008. Also the names have been awarded to the nameless streets and blind alleys in various districts of Tbilisi.
