Today, Tbilisi City Assembly Chairman hosted Ukrainian delegation headed by Nikolayev city Mayor Vladimir Chaika. The delegation was composed of Nikolayev City Council member Alexander Zhenzherukha, Nikolayev City Council member Nikolai Voronenko and officials Aandrei Yakovlev and Valeri Vetrov. Together with Zaal Samdashvili, Chairman of Economic Development and Investment Policy Commission Konstantine Ionatamishvili, and Chairman of Health Care and Social Issues Commission Giorgi Chachanidze met the guests.Mayor Chaika thanked Assembly officials for a warm welcome and added that it very interesting for them to learn recently held Georgian reforms. "With the help of mass media we are keeping an eye on reforms held in your country. It is obvious that in short period of time you have converted your country into a successful one. Therefore, we need to share your experience," declared city Mayor. The guests out numerous questions to Tbilisi City Assembly representatives and received comprehensive answers. The conversation touched such issues as struggle against corruption, business environment i n Georgia, transparence of tenders, land purchasing procedure, specifics of online auctions.Besides, the hosts spoke about interesting projects ongoing in the capital. Economic Development and Investment Policy Commission Chairman Konstantine Ionatamishvili minutely told the guests about project "Old Tbilisi New Life".Zaal Samadashvili finished the meeting with the following words: "Today, Nikolayev delegation visited Tbilisi City Assembly. Hereby, let me underline that frequent visits of Ukrainians to Tbilisi, indicate on their great interest in Georgia. We have shared our experience and hope that our guests will implement it."
